God’s Sovereignty and My Responsibility

Welcome to one of the more difficult passages in all of the Bible. Theologians have debated these important verses for centuries. If you read 100 theologians comments on these verses you would find at least 75-80 variations or at least small nuances to separate their interpretation. I have used 4 of the best (my opinion) and they do not agree and yet 3 of the 4 and some even argue all four come from a similar theological system. Did God choose you or did you choose God? How is that for causing controversy? On Sunday few will like everything, but I am hopeful that most can find agreement on the essentials. I am praying that we do not have a stoning after the service. (All of you who know me, know that I love this kind of stuff!)
